Q. What is green energy and how can I support it?
This is a great question and a very important topic. “Green” or renewable energy is energy that comes from a source that is continually replenished; some examples are sunlight, wind, and water. If you purchase energy from PSNH, you’ll be happy to know that a portion of your electricity was generated at the company’s nine hydroelectric plants, Northern Wood Power (a biomass unit), and other local renewable power developers like Iberdrola’s Lempster wind power project.
